Rulings
- 2018-09-03 If Barge Engulfer gains defender after it enters the battlefield, such as through the Guard Duty Aura, it will lose defender, then gain defender. If it gains it through a static ability that began applying before it entered the battlefield, such as "Creatures you control have defender", it will gain defender, then lose defender.
