Flying
Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, Adavene, Dean of the Arts deals 1 damage to each opponent.
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, you may exile it, then return it to the battlefield.

Counter target spell unless its controller pays {1}.

Trample
As long as it's an opponent's turn, Ambushing Alligator is a blue Bird with base power and toughness 1/1 and has flying and hexproof.
