(They put X +1/+1 counters on an Army they control. It's also a Soldier. If they don't control an Army, they create a 0/0 black Soldier Army creature token first.)

When Scrollmaster dies, you may exile it. If you do, search your library for an instant or sorcery card with mana value 4 or less and cast it without paying its mana cost. If you searched your library this way, shuffle.

At the beginning of your upkeep, if six or more cards are in your graveyard, you may transform Scuttling Gnat.
